This course covers the functions required to undertake a basic course in earthmoving operations meet the minimum formal training and assessment standards for the purposes of certification through the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority

Conducted over 1 day AET provides Beginner Earthmoving Courses for those looking to upgrade their skills or possibly change careers. Courses provide learners with the knowledge and skills they will need to operate this machinery safely.

This course demonstrates how, through regular inspection and maintenance, an operator can ensure that the machine is in a sound, safe mechanical condition prior to operating. By attending this course the participant will learn the engineering principles of the machinery and should be able to identify potentially hazardous situations.

It is preferable that students are 18 years of age
Students aged under 18 may be deemed eligible in extreme circumstances, where prior experience / exposure to machinery has been evident.
