Licence to operate a Slewing Mobile Crane up to 100t

To provide applicants with the practical skills and knowledge to safely operate a Slewing Mobile Crane (up to 100 tonnes) (C1) in accordance with Safe Work Australia’s National Standard for Licencing Persons Performing HRW. All training and assessments are carried out by our own HRW trainers and assessors certified by Worksafe Victoria.

Applicant Requirements

  • Have Photo ID (i.e. Australian Drivers Licence, Passport, Proof of age card)
  • ID must contain photo, signature and date of birth
  • Proof of Victorian residential address
  • Applicants must hold a current (DG) Dogging High Risk Work Licence
  • Applicants must hold a current HRWL to operate a Slewing Mobile Crane (up to 60 tonnes), and current industry experience operating a slewing mobile crane of between 20t and up to 60t competently for at least 2 years.
  • Study course material prior to attending

Course Description

The slewing mobile crane course covers the following units:

  • Plan work/task
  • Prepare for work/task
  • Perform work/task
  • Pack up

The course is conducted over 3 consecutive days
